Markus Lehmann

In 2011, Markus Lehmann made his childhood dream come true: With full commitment, he is manufacturing watches in his own factory.

A true Schramberg boy, he has loved watches from an early age. But since the quartz crisis deeply affected the Swiss and German watchmaking industry, he was apprenticed to a toolmaker and later trained as an electronics technician. "The combination of precision engineering and electronics proved to be perfect for me," he says.

As his fascination with watches remained, he chose a career in this industry. For many years, he worked for well-known Swiss manufacturers where he was responsible for the manufacture of clockwork parts and gained extensive experience in this field. When he took over the company Lehmann Präzision from his parents 15 years ago, the Swiss watchmaking industry quickly became his major customer. "We made a good name for us as problem solvers", he states. With this background, it was only natural for him to develop his own watch.
